My Approach

A unique approach to editing and coaching, designed to give you the best of high-quality services, from planning to publishing

  • A woman sitting on sofa with some books beside her: one on change management, one on book editing, and two on chronic fatigue syndrome. There's also an open diary planner and pen.

    Change Management Methodology

Change Management is all about taking individuals on a journey – understanding who is impacted, how, why, when, and how best to support and engage them.

It’s understanding impacts of decisions, knowing what the end state of a change will be, and how to articulate your messages in the best possible way to be successful.

Applying that to Writing and Editing

Writing (and by extension, editing) is about taking readers on a journey – understanding their expectations, their likes and dislikes, along with the market. All this helps you to target your material at the right audience, in the right way, at the right time.

Editing is understanding what the author wants to achieve, what the readers want to read, and helping to shape the content to deliver on those expectations. It’s about perfecting your message, not just in meaning but in presentation.

    The Benefits of My Approach

Taking change management methodology and combining it with editorial expertise, my approach will provide a deeper insight into a manuscript. Using my bespoke templates, and under my expert guidance, authors will not only have a polished piece of work at the end but they’ll have content that takes their readership into consideration throughout.

They’ll end up with the best version of their writing, with a recorded checklist of all the key elements that were addressed.
